As an editor on Barneys New York's The Window I integrated a dynamic e-commerce platform with engaging editorial content daily, combining beautiful products with intriguing and succinct stories for a novel luxury consumer experience. I interviewed and reported on fashion designers ranging from (Rabih Kayrouz, Anya Hindmarch, Byron and Dexter Peart, Baja East, and everyone on this playlist and took command of photoshoots (spring colors, anyone?) and Photoshop (how to look hot or keep warm in winter) to create engaging, highly shoppable stories.
As Group SJR's lead editor of Levi Strauss & Co.'s Unzipped blog, I dove deep into the world of denim in the context of sustainability, heritage, and innovation. I pitched, researched, and then collaborated with a stellar design team to create infographics for readers answering questions such as: What should I do with these really old pants? And: How do you not bike to work already? I reminded indigo-lovers why they should wear their Levi's to a music festival, and reported on everything from Levi's Vintage to Levi's Pride to women's empowerment in Guatemala to Japanese tradition in San Francisco.
I occasionally wrote for Target's A Bullseye View — covering subjects ranging from interiors to fashion to juice recipes — and honed my tech expertise in a body of work written for Dell's Tech Page One (A few of my faves: Technologists who love karaoke as much as I do, Geiger counter artwork, and digital smells).
I am currently freelancing for Avon, covering beauty and women’s empowerment, while helping people quit smoking via Pfizer’s online community of quitters.
And finally, for Group SJR’s quarterly trend report I took on a subject close to my heart: craft beer.
